People of Indian Origin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PIOCCI) and Department of Industrial Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh organised Webinar on Diaspora Investment in Uttar Pradesh State in India.
As Chief Guest Shri Satish Mahan Minister of Industrial Development Uttar Pradesh along with Indian diaspora from United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Africa, Norway, Oman, Kuwait, Germany, Australia, Latvia, France, Brazil, New Zealand, Thailand, Nigeria and many more participated in the Webinar.
The purpose of the webinar was to promote the Industrial sector and to discuss the industrial policies for Ease of Doing Business in Uttar Pradesh.
Shri Satish Mahana discussed several key points and spoke on the following salient features;
Advantages of Investing in Uttar Pradesh especially in the connectivity Advantages of the state and Empowering Policy Framework and land reform introduced by the State. He presented a review of Post Covid 19 policies and enabling business climate providing Investment opportunities substantially leading to increase in Ease of Doing business. He also informed the participants about the establishment of an exclusive NRI department in the Government to give a push to the investment momentum by PIO’s and NRI’s.
