Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is the largest event focussed on Indians leaving abroad and People of Indian Origin irrespective of their nationality. This event provides an excllent opportunity to meet people from more than 100 countries who share a common origin and bond with India.
Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2019 is being held in Varanasi, India from 21st-23rd Janaury. There are other events planned before and after the main event. It is expected to be the biggest event so far.
PIOCCI is organising a one-day conference with theme: “Connecting with Indian Diaspora & Leveraging their Strengths for Developing Focus Sectors of Mutual Interest” on 20th January 2019, the day preceding the main PBD. The overseas delegates participating in PBD will get an opportunity to explore their interest in focus areas on which deliberations have been planned.

Inauguration of 15th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention 2019 by Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India in the presence of Prime Minister of Mauritius, H.E. Pravind Jugnauth.
Conferment of Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards and Valedictory Address by President of India.
Participants would arrive in Prayagraj by bus (Volvo AC Bus). Arrangements for holy bathing at Sangam.
After Kumbh Mela, participants would travel from Prayagraj to Delhi by train (two-tier AC coaches).
Special passes for foreign delegates of PBD 2019 have been arranged for the Republic Day Parade.

UNIQUE ID will be used by Delegate / Participant to collect your PBD Registration Pass from the Special Counters at PBD Venue starting 19 January 2019.
UNIQUE ID will also be used by Delegate / Participant to book rooms at select PBD hotels in Varanasi.
