PBD is the largest gathering of PIOs & NRIs in India. This biennial event is most looked forward event of Indian Diaspora and people of varied interest who want to connect and contribute towards development of India have been participating.
The 15th PBD, to be held during 21st – 23rd January, 2019, with theme “Role of Indian Diaspora in Building New India” is being planned in a big way and has been linked with “Kumbh” the major spiritual & cultural event in the country. PBD has been planned in such a way that participants will get an opportunity to visit KumbhMela and Republic Day and the visits will be organized by the Government of India.
PIOCCI is organising a one-day conference with theme: “Connecting with Indian Diaspora & Leveraging their Strengths for Developing Focus Sectors of Mutual Interest” on 20th January 2019, the day preceding the main PBD. The overseas delegates participating in PBD will get an opportunity to explore their interest in focus areas on which deliberations have been planned.
