1000 – 1100 Hours Inauguration : “India’s Steady and Resilient Economy a safe haven for Diaspora Investment”

Indian economy has showed tremendous resilient to global setbacks and continues to grow at 7% annually. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi beckons the Diaspora to engage in an economic partnership with India, beyond the emotional engagement that is deep-rooted and time tested.

Policies and procedures are evoking a positive response as the Diaspora looks beyond traditional real estate purchases to infrastructure development, technology and innovation driven entrepreneurship, health, tourism, textiles and other sectors that drive the government’s aggressive schemes of Swatch Bharat, Swasth Bharat, Make In India, StartUp India and more. This session engages Indian Minister and top bureaucrats with Diaspora leaders on walking the path of this paradigm shift.

PIOCCI – States in India as hubs of Economic Activity

PIOCCI functional model is unique in that not only does it connect India to the world through its Country Chapters globally, but it offers hand-holding PIO/NRI investors and prospectors down to the last mile in the States across India. Headquartered in Delhi, PIOCCI State Coordinators supported by a team of Co- Coordinators and other officials (based on the size of the state) will offer liaison with public and private sector enterprises and facilitate interaction with the state governments.

Preparing for PIOCCI Grand Convention 6 Jan 2017 in conjunction with PBD in Bengaluru

PIOCCI gears up for a grand convention on 6 January 2017 in Bengaluru in conjunction with the Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas (PBD) now held every two years. Expected attendees are 500 from across India and from 50 countries around the world. Broad agenda and planning teams to be finalized at this informal session.
